INDIA RICE AND AGRO COMMODITY
Ever since the world has undergone a social distancing scenario due to the pandemic COVID-19, tradeshows and exhibitions seem nearly abnormal. Before COVID-19, visitors used to physically visit the venue and check out stalls, exchange goods and meet with traders. Now when hygiene awareness is at its high, the days of crowded trade fairs have remained in the history for now.
Considering the ongoing situation, there is an utmost need of sustaining the existing market and also making India available in the world market for the supply of agricultural and processed food products. At APEDA, trade fairs and exhibitions have been instrumental in promoting export of agricultural foods. But since organizing fairs and exhibitions for buyer-seller meetings is no more feasible at this juncture. Now APEDA has implemented and launched a platform for Virtual Trade Fair or VTF.
Such Virtual events also present a cost effective, increasing productivity and face to face feeling with exhibitors and visitors. An event like this sets up a conveniently focused region/market that helps to understand the specific market requirement and showcase solutions accordingly.
The Virtual Trade Fair event revolves around the India Rice and Agro Commodity theme, and will focus on showcasing the strengths of various agricultural products with the aim of establishing a contact between Indian exporters and foreign importers. This virtual trade fair will be available at fingertips from 10th to 12th of March 2021.
Here, buyers, importers and visitors will get to explore a wide range of food products presented by the exporters. The trade process will take place via interactive technology to provide seamless virtual meetings as an added benefit.
Thanks to innovative design and immersive infrastructure, exporters and importer meetings can be held with no interruption via audio as well as video sessions. The sessions will cover brief demo workshops, product launches, live streams and webinars.
A wide press release for exclusive media coverage will closely feature the event and all its attraction points. This would present a complete picture of the fair.
The cooperation and output provided by Embassy of India in generation of participation of potential buyers is the key component of this initiative by APEDA. The event is expected to mobilize the participation of buyers despite the physical barriers.
Online registration for Exhibitors starts 27th of February 2021.
